In 2002, I discovered that my 2-year old son was allergic to
wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk and soy. I developed
wheat and seafood allergies as well. A born cookie-lover, I
toiled in the kitchen, determined to bake a delicious cookie
my whole family could enjoy, even my husband and other
children who didn't have food restrictions. Fortunately, I
have always loved to bake! I spent many, many hours in
the kitchen developing recipes for cookies, cakes, brownies,
and breads. I knew there had to be an easier solution
to delicious "goodies" for those of us with food allergies.
